Wednesday, June 4th, 2025 – Toru-Orua, Bayelsa State In a remarkable show of commitment to the growth and development of their alma mater, the University of Africa Toru-Orua (UAT) Alumni Association yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Solomon T. Ebobrah at the VC's Board room. President Koufa Samuel Akpoabo-owei led the delegation to present white marker boards, packs of whiteboard markers, and dusters, aimed at supporting teaching and learning across the university. During the brief presentation ceremony, Mr. Koufa emphasized that the donation demonstrates the association’s commitment to contributing meaningfully to UAT’s academic growth and giving back to the institution that shaped its professional journey. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Solomon T. Ebobrah, expressed profound appreciation to the alumni for the kind gesture, noting that such acts of generosity and involvement are key to the university’s progress. He commended the association for taking a bold step in strengthening the relationship between the alumni body and the university management. The UAT Alumni Association continues to demonstrate strong leadership and commitment to promoting academic excellence and institutional pride at the University of Africa.
