    Principal Officers
    (UAT Library, 2025-06-21) Principal Officers
The first combined convocation ceremony of the University of Africa Toru-Orua (UAT) marked a historic milestone in the institution’s academic journey, celebrating the graduation of multiple cohorts. At the heart of this momentous occasion were key principal officers — the University Librarian, the Bursar, and the Registrar — whose roles were instrumental in both the preparatory and ceremonial processes. The University Librarian, as the custodian of knowledge and academic resources, played a pivotal role in supporting the scholarly growth of the graduating students. Their address highlighted the strides made in digital access, library automation, and the expansion of research resources, which collectively contributed to the academic success being celebrated. The Bursar underscored the university’s financial stewardship and the prudent management of resources that sustained academic programs and infrastructural development. In their remarks, emphasis was placed on transparency, accountability, and the innovative financial strategies that enabled the institution to host such a large-scale event without compromising its fiscal health. The Registrar, charged with the administrative and academic record-keeping functions of the university, coordinated the convocation process. This included the collation and validation of graduates’ records, protocol arrangements, and the official release of degree certifications. Their presentation acknowledged the collaborative efforts of academic departments and administrative units in ensuring the seamless organization of the ceremony.
