    John Nicholas, a distinguished scholar from Peretorugbene in Ekeremor Local Government Area, has emerged as a beacon of academic excellence. He was honoured as the best graduating student for the 2021/2022 academic session at the first combined convocation ceremony of the University of Africa, Bayelsa State, held on June 21, 2025. Remarkably, he held the title of Overall Best Graduating Student for four consecutive sessions—from 2020/2021 through 2023/2024. Graduating with an outstanding CGPA of 4.95 in political science, John’s achievement stands as a testament. His accomplishments deserve celebration and serve as a profound inspiration for aspiring scholars across the nation.
